PURPOSE: Provided are method of oxidizing volatile organic compound (VOCs) using photocatalyst of anatase TiO2 and a method for regenerating deactivated photocatalyst. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of radiating ultraviolet rays to VOCs of less than 2000 ppm in the presence of anatase titanium dioxide, wherein a light source for irradiating the ultraviolet rays is an ozone lamp, and wherein light beams irradiated from the light source includes a light beam with wave length of 185 nm by no less than 30%.
