PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a cable sheath by extruding and cross-linking a composition based on a silane-grafted polymer, and a cable including the sheath obtained by the same are provided to be capable of simplifying manufacturing processes. CONSTITUTION: A mixing process is carried out with a thermoplastic base polymer or a mixture of thermoplastic base polymers, the first silane-based compound, and a generator of free radicals. Then, the mixture is extruded onto a cable for obtaining a sheath of the cable by using an extruding apparatus(2). A cross-linking process is carried out at the sheath of the cable in the ambient atmosphere. Preferably, a compound containing the secondary amine function is incorporated before carrying out the cross-linking process.
