PURPOSE: An Internet high-speed network-based household appliances control apparatus is provided to control various kinds of household appliances mounted at a remote site through a communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: An Internet network(25) is connected to a user's communication terminal and then transmits and receives a control signal. A manager system(35) is connected to the Internet network and then transmits and receives the control signal to/from the user's communication terminal. The manager system(35) controls and manages generally to a household appliances control system. A wire telephone network(17) is connected to the Internet network and then transmits and receives the control signal to/from the manager system. A home information system(70) is connected to the wire telephone network and then transmits and receives the control signal to/from the manager system. The home information system(70) controls the appliances by the control signal.
