PURPOSE: An underwater coupling device is provided to allow for ease of coupling/de-coupling procedures, while reducing time required for coupling/decoupling. CONSTITUTION: An underwater coupling device comprises a water tight assembly(100) having a coupling portion(110) connected to an object and a water tight rod(120) protruded from the coupling portion; a water tight groove assembly(200) having a fixing portion(210) connected to the other object, a water tight groove(220) for accommodating the water tight rod, and a perforation hole(230) penetrating through the water tight groove and the outer surface of the water tight groove assembly; and a perforation hole open/shut unit(300) for adjusting coupling force by opening or shutting the perforation hole of the water tight groove assembly.
