UPGRADE SERVICE SYSTEM IN DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER LINE NETWORK

PURPOSE: An upgrade service system in a DSL(Digital Subscriber Line) network is provided to automatically confirm a version of a driver file of a current subscriber when the subscriber accesses a DSL, and to perform an upgrading process, thereby minimizing the subscriber's complaints without giving inconvenience to the subscriber. CONSTITUTION: An upgrade server(122) has a driver file having an up-to-date version of a subscriber device(100) in a DSL network, and transmits the driver file having the up-to-date version to the subscriber device(100) at the request of the subscriber device(100). When a subscriber has access to the DSL network, the subscriber device(100) confirms a driver version in the upgrade server(122). If the confirmed version is more advanced than a currently-installed driver, the subscriber device(100) of the DSL network downloads the advanced driver file, and installs the advanced driver file.
