Dielectric barrier discharge plasma torch and its application method in surface treatment

PURPOSE: A plasma spraying apparatus by using a dielectric barrier discharge and a method for treating the surface thereof by using the same are provided to prevent the damage of the electrode due to the local discharge generated by gas eddy supplied between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION: A plasma spraying apparatus by using a dielectric barrier discharge includes an electrode(9) sealed by the circular ground electrode(5) and the dielectric material and in the form of circular coil consisting a predetermined angle with respect to the spraying body(8), a pedestal(10) for supporting the ground electrode(5), a gas inlet(6) placed at the splaying body(8), a guide(7) in the form of screw so as to output the gas flowing into through the gas inlet(6) with having rotational force and a high voltage generation block(4) for applying the high voltage of the alternative power between the electrodes(5,9).
