PURPOSE: A control processor of an AN(Access Network) system and a method for expanding a subscriber capacity thereof are provided to apply a TSW(Time SWitch) in a front-end of a subscriber unit, without using the concept of an expansion shelf, so as to expand the subscriber capacity in a shelf. CONSTITUTION: A framer unit(310) processes the transceiving of data frame information delivered from a synchronous transmission module. A TSW unit(330) arranged between the TSA unit(320) and the subscriber unit(340) provides a concentration function of time slot connection and disconnection when a subscriber attempts or ends a call service.
