PURPOSE: An apparatus for inspecting a variation in the structure of a cassette for loading a liquid crystal display glass is provided to inspect a structural variation of the cassette rapidly and accurately to prevent the glass from being damaged. CONSTITUTION: A laser sensor(10) for measuring deformation of the external shape of a cassette is fixed to a fixed frame distant from the cassette by a predetermined distance. The laser sensor irradiates a laser beam to twelve points on the outer side of the cassette and converts the length of the irradiated laser beam into a numerical value to confirm whether or not the external shape of the cassette is deformed. A laser sensor(20) for measuring deformation of a support bar(S) is set at a transfer screw having a predetermined distance from the cassette. The support bar deformation measuring laser sensor irradiates a laser beam to a specific point of the support bar and converts the reflected distance and dislocation of the laser beam into a numerical value to accurately measure the deformation of the support bar.
