PURPOSE: An immobilized carrier containing white rot fungus for wastewater treatment, preparation thereof and process for treating wastewater using the same are provided, which can treat wastewater steadily using carrier impregnated or coated with immobilized white rot fungus. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of immobilized carrier for wastewater treatment comprises the following steps of cultivating white rot fungus of Phanerochaete Chrysosporium (KCTC 6147) grown for 3 to 7 days followed by filtering; mixing the mycelium obtained with polyvinyl alcohol and 20 to 50 %(w/v) by weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:2; conducting freezing treatment of the mixture; molding the freezing treated mixture into a fixed size; and conducting refrigerating treatment of the mold.
