PURPOSE: A method for measuring very fine coal in blast furnace exhaust gas is provided to measure quantity of very fine coal discharged and lost to the outside of blast furnace by separating coke and very fine coal mixed in the blast furnace exhaust gas from the blast furnace exhaust gas respectively. CONSTITUTION: The method for measuring very fine coal in blast furnace exhaust gas comprises a sample collection step of collecting sample of the coke and coal before charging coke and coal into blast furnace; a carbon contained constituent separation step of separating iron ore constituents and carbon contained constituents of the blast furnace exhaust gas from the blast furnace exhaust gas using specific gravity difference thereof; a sample X ray diffraction analysis step of X ray diffraction analyzing the coke and coal collected in the sample collection step; a standard calibration curve drawing step of a standard calibration curve by measuring width of half maximum for a mixed phase of coke and coal analyzed in the sample X ray diffraction analysis step; a width of half maximum calculation step of calculating the width of half maximum by X ray diffraction analyzing the carbon contained constituents separated in the carbon contained constituent separation step; and a very fine coal measuring step of measuring ratio of coke and very fine coal from the width of half maximum calculated in the width of half maximum calculation step using the standard calibration curve obtained in the standard calibration curve drawing step.
