A Method of Middleware Server Status Supervision

PURPOSE: A method for monitoring an operation state of a middleware server residing in a workstation is provided to monitor whether the middleware server is operated suitably for a defined operation standard in real time, so as to restart and recover the server in the case of an abnormal state. CONSTITUTION: If a server monitoring function is started, state transition to a performance waiting state is performed(101). If a monitoring cycle time becomes out(102), information of the number of entire monitored blocks is read(103). An API(Application Programming Interface) is paged for reading server state information(104), and state transition to a response waiting state is performed(105). If a result is accepted(108), a result analyzing function is paged(109). If a response is not received in a given time and time-out is accepted(106), a time-out count for a corresponding block is increased(107) and the result analyzing function is paged(109). Whether performance is completed in the entire blocks is checked(110). If so, a cycle for next monitoring is registered in a timer(112) and state transition to the performance waiting state is performed(113). If performance is not completed in the entire blocks, information on the monitored blocks is read(111) and the step 104 is returned.
