The connection and release method for reduction of network load of RSVP for the internet QoS

PURPOSE: A method of setting and canceling a connection for reducing load of a network on the Internet is provided to transmit a path request message to a neighboring node by each node, and to receive an acknowledgement message, thereby securing reliability between neighboring nodes and minimizing network load by using a connection state confirm message. CONSTITUTION: If a transmission node transmits a path request message to a destination node through an intermediate node, the intermediate node responds to the message through an acknowledgement message. After reserving resources, if the transmission node transmits a resource reservation confirm message to the destination node, the intermediate node and the destination node respond to the message through acknowledgement messages. After setting a path, each node periodically transmits connection state confirm messages and receives connection state acknowledgement messages. If the transmission node transmits a resource canceling message to the destination node, the intermediate node and the destination node respond to the message through acknowledgement messages.
