NANOEMULSION PARTICLES CONTAINING COMPOUND K BY NANOEMULSION TECHNIQUES AND EXTERNAL AGENT COMPOSITION FOR APPLICATION TO SKIN

PURPOSE: An external agent composition for application to the skin is provided which contains a compound K prepared by bioconversion of ginseng saponin as an effective ingredient. By the inclusion of the compound K as a major metabolite of Panax Ginseng into nanoemulsions or liposomes using nanoemulsion techniques, the agent composition has improved transdermal absorption and excellent skin aging-preventing effect such as wrinkle abatement. CONSTITUTION: An external skin agent composition contains 10¬-8 to 99.00% by weight of nanoemulsion particles, the nanoemulsion particles contain 0.001 to 30% by weight of a compound K of the formula 1. The compound K is prepared by acid hydrolysis, base hydrolysis or enzyme hydrolysis of a Panax Ginseng extract. The nanoemulsion particles having an average particle size of 30 to 500nm include liposomes containing lecithin, a lecithin derivative and a co-emulsifier.
