PURPOSE: Provided are a method for drying rice using yellow soil and a system therefor, thereby drying rice for a short time maintaining its taste and flavor, preventing the loss or destruction of its nutrient, and removing harmful components such as agricultural chemicals and the like. CONSTITUTION: A method for drying rice using yellow soil comprises the steps of: mixing yellow soil balls having a size of 2-6mm and heated at 40-60 deg.C and harvested rice in a mixer; drying the mixture thereof in a drying pathway marinating the temperature to 40-60 deg.C for 40-60 minutes; sieving the mixture to separate the rice and yellow soil balls; and storing the separated rice and reusing the separated yellow soil balls.
