USER TRANSACTION AND APPROVAL METHOD FOR DIGITAL TELEVISION LISING USER PROFILE

PURPOSE: A user management and settlement method using a personal profile of a digital television is provided to store user information to display only contents suitable for each user and easily settle accounts through the user information when the user uses home shopping. CONSTITUTION: A personal profile is inputted using a personal video recorder. The personal profile is stored in a server through the Internet. An account name and a password to call the personal profile when a digital television is booted. The personal profile corresponding to the inputted account name and password is downloaded from the server to display only a broadcasting program suitable for the profile to a corresponding user. Settlement is made using settlement information of the user profile.
