PURPOSE: Provided are a powdery extract of Cassia tora L. Leguminosae and a tea product containing the same for improving constipation. The manufactured tea product has an excellent palatability and improves constipation. CONSTITUTION: A tea product containing a powdery extract of Cassia tora L. Leguminosae is manufactured by the steps of; extracting Cassia tora L. Leguminosae with purified water or ethanol as a solvent; concentrating the extract, followed by spray-drying; and Ming the powdery extract of Cassia tora L. Leguminosae, with at least one selected from a powdery extract of Cascara sagrada, roasted unpolished rice flour, Malvae semen, Plantago asiatica, Hydrangea macrophylla for.
