PURPOSE: A heat exchanger by using a hydrogen storage alloy is provided to improve heat exchange efficiency by flowing hydrogen actively with removing hydrogen storage alloy powder from a filter, and to increase reaction between the hydrogen storage alloy and hydrogen by reducing flow resistance of hydrogen with a vibration transmitting unit. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger comprises reactors(50) filled with hydrogen storage alloy for exothermic reaction or endothermic reaction in absorbing or radiating hydrogen; a hydrogen passage pipe(60) connected to a distribution pipe to form the hydrogen passage for inputting and outputting hydrogen from the reactors in driving a compressor; a filter(54) installed in the hydrogen passage pipe to prevent discharge of hydrogen storage alloy powder; and a vibration transmitting unit connected to the filter to shake off hydrogen storage alloy powder from the filter by transmitting vibration. Hydrogen moves actively by removing hydrogen storage alloy powder from the filter with the vibration transmitting unit.
