METHOD FOR DRYING A BAMBOO TUBE WITHOUT FORMATION OF SPLITS AND CHECKS

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for drying a bamboo trunk to prevent splitting, by which it is possible to dry a bamboo trunk without splitting of the trunk during its drying process. CONSTITUTION: The method includes a fist step of sealing caps on both ends of a bamboo trunk with a moisture shielding membrane for shielding treatment and a second step of drying the bamboo trunk with the moisture shielding membrane formed on the both ends in a heating apparatus. The moisture shielding membrane is formed of a wrap for food packing, a vinyl, an aluminum foil, a paper, a cloth, a plastic or water proof paint. The heating apparatus is hot air blowing apparatus or vacuum heating apparatus for drying.
