Realtime User State Information Management Method for using SMS in Instant Messaging System based on Wireless Internet

PURPOSE: A method for managing real-time user state information using an SMS(Short Message Service) in a wireless instant messaging system is provided to connect to a wireless Internet only when communication is requested by using the SMS to manage the user state information in a messenger, thereby reducing cost and implementing smooth communication. CONSTITUTION: If a user logs in a wireless instant messenger server(301), the wireless instant messenger server stores log-in information in a database to change state information of the user(302), and transmits the changed state information to other users(303). The wireless instant messenger server transceives a message related to the transmitted state information, and manages the related user(304), and decides whether the user logs out(305). If so, the wireless instant messenger server performs a user log-out process(306), and stores information notifying that the user logs out in the database, then changes the state information of the user(307). The wireless instant messenger server transmits the information to the other users(308).
