PURPOSE: An ascending/descending method of a branching point for reducing the concentration of stress on a composite bridge is provided to economize in materials and to have large compressive stress. CONSTITUTION: The ascending/descending method of a branching point for reducing the concentration of stress on a composite bridge comprises the steps of: placing many preflex main girders over both abutments; installing a branching point on the center of a span of the main girders; installing an anchor plate and H-beams on the branching point; installing a hydraulic jack between the branching point and the pressure plate, then ascending the pressure plate; placing floor concrete; after curing the concrete surface, removing the pressure plate, the H-beams and the branching point.
