EXACT GEOMETRY BASED TRIANGLE MESH GENERATING METHOD

PURPOSE: A shape-based triangle mesh generating method is provided to generate a triangle mesh rapidly and simply, reduce system resources and enable fast display. CONSTITUTION: Boundary curves represented in three dimension are converted into trimming curves on a two-dimensional parametric domain(S210). For the trimming curves, cells are divided in such a manner that each cell has only one external loop, and a cell loop is constructed(S220). Triangulation is carried out in the parametric domain on the basis of only the cell boundary for each cell, to generate a triangle(S230). A triangle on the three-dimensional space is generated from the triangle on the parametric domain(S240).
