PURPOSE: A method for certifying an application of a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) using a PC based unique ID and a system using the same are provided to protect a CONSTITUTION: A user PC(200) comprises a unique ID generator(210), and a communicator(220) transmitting the unique ID to a user PDA(300) and exchanging the data between the server(100) and the user PDA(300). The server(100) comprises a virtual ID manager(130), a certification module generator(110), and a certification module encryption tool(120). The user PDA(300) comprises an interface(310) for the data communication with the user PC(200) or the server(300), a virtual ID generator(340) generating the virtual ID for the user PDA(300) by receiving the unique ID from the user PC(200) through the interface(310), and an ID judgment tool(330) judging the certification of the application(350) by using the information obtained by decrypting the certification module with the unique ID.
