METHOD FOR RESTORING AND MANUFACTURING PLATE CULTURAL ASSETS

PURPOSE: A method for restoring and manufacturing plate cultural assets is provided to construct a database of the cultural assets easily by scanning the original, a rubbed copy, a book, and a photograph of the cultural assets, receiving, and managing the image data from remote place. CONSTITUTION: The original, a rubbed copy, a book, and a photograph of cultural assets and an object capable of being processed as image data are collected(s11). The collected original, rubbed copy, book, and photograph are scanned, and corresponding image data are created(s12). The image data are corrected through an outward form recognition of a character, a numeral, and an image of the created image data(s13). The image data are converted into a vector file and stored(s14). The image data are modified and edited into an image for a sculpture using the stored vector file and converted into a CAM file(s15). A metal material is sculptured as embossment through a sculpture device in accordance with the converted CAM file, and an article is manufactured(s17).
