PURPOSE: Provided is a primer set for amplifying the gene of pathogenic microorganism which is used in making the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to rapidly and correctly detect maximally nine kinds of pathogenic microorganism causing bacterial foodborne intoxication. CONSTITUTION: The primer set for amplifying the gene of pathogenic microorganism comprises a pair of primer for amplifying the gene of Campylobacter jejuni having the base sequence of SEQ ID NO 1 and 2, that of E. coli 0157:H7 having the base sequences of SEQ ID NO 3 and 4, that of Bacillus cereus having the base sequences of SEQ ID NO 5 and 6, that of Listeria monocytogenes having the base sequences of SEQ ID NO 7 and 8, that of Yersinia enterocolitica having the base sequences of SEQ ID NO 9 and 10, that of Salmonella sp. having the base sequences of SEQ ID NO 11 and 12, that of Staphylococcus aureus having the base sequences of SEQ ID NO 13 and 14, that of Shigella spp. having the base sequences of SEQ ID NO 15 and 16, and that of Vibrio parahaemolyticus having the base sequences of SEQ ID NO 17 and 18.
