Visual inspection and radiation dose measurement method of steam generator using miniature CCD camera system

PURPOSE: A small-sized CCD(Charge Coupled Device) camera and a method for measuring an exposure dose of radiation using the same are provided to detect an abnormal state of the steam generator heat pipe and measure the exposure dose of radiation by using the small-sized CCD camera. CONSTITUTION: A small-sized CCD camera device for measuring exposure dose of radiation within steam generator heat pipe includes a video probe(10), a mobile unit(20), an image processing unit(30), an image analysis unit(40), and a VCR/monitor unit(50). The video probe(10) includes a CCD, a UV material coated on a center of the CCD, and an optical lens located in front of the CCD. The mobile unit(20) moves the video probe(10) into the inside of the steam generator heat pipe. The image processing unit(30) is connected to the video probe(10) and the mobile unit(20) in order to process images of the video probe(10). The image analysis unit(40) is connected to the image processing portion(30) in order to compare and analyze the images. The VCR/monitor unit(50) is connected to the image processing portion(30) and the image analysis portion(40) in order to record or display the images.
