Mobile Personal Information Management System using Internet and SMS Call-Back Technology

PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing the personal information of a portable terminal using the Internet and an SMS(Short Message Service) callback function are provided to make a user store the personal information by receiving the personal information from a database of a web site on the Internet through a procedure for confirming information change/registration. CONSTITUTION: The portable terminal(200) offers an interface to the user(100) and communicates data by having a memory for storing the personal management information. A base station(300) transmits/receives the data with the portable terminal(200). An exchange station(400) exchanges the data in order to transmit/receive the data with the base station(100) by connecting to the Internet(800). A computer(500) inputs, adds, and changes the personal management information through a menu by a key input tool. A personal information management server(700) inputs, adds, and changes the personal management information by the user(100) connected through the Internet(800), constructs it in the database(701), and transmits it to the exchange station(400) through an exclusive line(600).
