Ad-OA Method for anticancer treatment using adenovirus vector Ad-OA producing antisense telomerase and cisplatin

PURPOSE: A method of treating cancer by multiple administrations of an antisense telomerase adenovirus and cisplatin is provided, which shows an excellent effect on the death or inhibition of cancer cells exhibiting resistance to an anticancer agent and minimizes adverse side reactions caused by the use of an excess amount of the anticancer agent. CONSTITUTION: An adenovirus clone Ad-OA capable of inhibiting telomerase activity and cisplatin as an anticancer agent are infected to a tumor or cancerous area to induce the death of tumor cell lines showing resistance to an anticancer agent or to inhibit the progression of cancer. It can be effectively used in treatment of lung cancer, prostate cancer, etc.
