1 1 Fluorescence-Labeled Peptide for PDK1 Protein Kinase Assay and Non-Radioactive PDK1 Protein Kinase Assay Using the Same

PURPOSE: A fluorescence-labeled peptide for PDK1 protein kinase assay and a non-radioactive PDK1 protein kinase assay using the same are provided, thereby easily, rapidly and accurately assaying the activity of PKD1 protein kinase without using a radioactive isotope. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescence-labeled peptide for PDK1 protein kinase assay has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 14, wherein Xaa is one selected from 20 amino acids in nature; and fourth, tenth, sixteenth and nineteenth amino acids are aromatic amino acids. A non-radioactive PDK1 protein kinase assay comprises the steps of: labeling peptide for PDK1 protein kinase assay with fluorescence; reacting the fluorescence-labeled peptide with PDK1 protein kinase; subjecting the reacted fluorescence-labeled peptide to electrophoresis at isoelectric point of the peptide to separate phosphorylated peptides from nonphosphorylated peptides; and measuring the amount of the phosphorylated peptides.
