A fiber reinforced plastic pipe manufactured by the wrapping and filament winding process using uni-direction fiber and a method for preparing the same

PURPOSE: A fiber reinforced plastic pipe produced by wrapping and filament winding method with a reinforcing material is provided to reduce a working time, easily to cut and process, and to decrease weight. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a fiber reinforced plastic pipe comprises a first stage equally infiltrating unidirectional reinforced fiber(4) in an impregnated tub(3) containing an impregnating resin(2); a second stage wrapping the reinforced fiber to a mandrel(6) while maintaining angle and rotation shaft of the mandrel; a third stage filament winding the reinforced fiber to the mandrel; a forth stage hardening the impregnating resin by heating the fiber reinforced plastic with the mandrel; a fifth stage removing the fiber reinforced plastic from the mandrel; and a sixth stage cutting the fiber reinforced plastic with a specific thickness. Thereby, the method for producing a fiber reinforced plastic pipe reduces a working time, easily cuts and processes the fiber reinforced plastic pipe, and decrease the weight.
