PURPOSE: A digital hop field neural net chip for the channel assignment of mobile communication is provided to embody a neural net algorithm to effectively allocate channels in cellular mobile communication as a hardware. CONSTITUTION: A neural net algorithm is configured using a hop field network so that, when a channel is assigned in a unit cell, the channel cannot impact adjacent cells. To embody the neural net algorithm as a hardware, it is coded by VHDL(Very High Density Lipoprotein) and processed with functional simulation. After going through logical composition using a CAD(Computer Added Design) tool, the functionally simulated algorithm is embodied as a chip by a full custom process.
