BRAKING METHOD PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM OF LARGE TRUCK

PURPOSE: A braking method of a parking brake apparatus of a large truck is provided to improve safety of a vehicle in parking and to prevent an accident by supplying braking air pressure to the front and rear parking brake at different rate. CONSTITUTION: An ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(6) takes signals from a pressure sensor(4) installed to a front wheel and a pressure sensor(5) installed to a rear wheel according to the operation of a parking brake switch(3) and decides parking state of a vehicle. The ECU drives a pneumatic pump(8) by according to the operation of the parking brake switch and generates braking air pressure with using of air in an air tank(7). A front parking brake pipe(12) and a rear parking brake pipe(13) control the opening angle of each flow rate control valve(14) to supply braking air pressure to be supplied into the front parking brake apparatus and rear parking brake apparatus according to the parking state at each different rate. Therefore safety of the vehicle is improved.
