PURPOSE: An animation producing method is provided to produce an animation from static images of published comics by using an image production and edition program so that it can simplify a production process in making an animation. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a scanner scanning each page of the published comics(S101), a CPU calling each scanned page, separating the page into cuts, and rearranging the cuts in a story running order(S102), the CPU making an original picture, e.g. setting a brightness proper for the cuts, by using an image edition program, e.g. Photoshop(S103), an original picture editor producing moving pictures on the cuts designated by a producer, and inserting the moving pictures between the designated cut and a next cut(S104), the original picture editor selecting an image layer, varying a rotation, or varying the moving picture by using various functions in a scale and a filter for giving the cuts a motion feeling(S105), a scanner scanning the original pictures and the moving pictures with a size proper for an edition tool(S106), a line editor emphasizing an external profile of characters in the pictures and eliminating unnecessary lines(S107), a color processor coloring areas selected in the images(S108), a background generator generating a background for the image separated from the character(S109), the first editor calling a projection file for producing a moving picture in a project window(S110), the first editor arranging selected files along a time-line(S111), the first editor arranging the projection files with each corresponding backgrounds and character effects(S112), the first editor arranging each completed scene at a set frame(S113), the CPU generating a voice file by editing a voice from a voice input module(S114), the second editor editing scenes with mouth shapes proper for words of the voice file, and adding effective sounds(S115), the second editor completing the scenes by performing a brightness control or a noise process on each scene by using a filtering function(S116), and the second editor converting the completed scene into a moving picture file(S117).
