PURPOSE: A ventilation facility operating method for a jet fan of a road tunnel provides a method for finding the operating association of the most economical and effective ventilation facilities and an opening method about the whole of the ventilation facilities. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation facility operating method comprises; a parameter setting up stage about a tunnel; a parameter setting up stage about the ventilation facility; an input stage of an allowable emission level and a critical air flow velocity in the tunnel; the stage inputting the estimated volume of the amount of discharged emission per a car; a stage of the storage of data in the storage cycle of the data and the stage confirming operating time of an ordinary working process; a stage whether to operate an algorithm for estimating the amount of discharged emission per a car by the collected and stored data or not; a stage for estimating the amount of discharged emission by using the estimation algorithm of the discharging amount; an adjusting stage when over-passing an allowable error after comparing the estimated volume of emission with a current setting value and otherwise, a data gathering stage for collecting the emission level of the inner tunnel, the direction and velocity of the wind of the inner and outer tunnel and the kind and speed of cars passing through the tunnel; and a stage confirming whether the change request about the amount of discharged emission happens or not.
