NON-WOVEN FABRIC USED IN SYNTHETIC LEATHER AND ARTIFICIAL LEATHER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND SYNTHETIC LEATHER AND ARTIFICIAL LEATHER USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Non-woven fabric used in synthetic leather and artificial leather, a method for manufacturing the same non-woven fabric, and synthetic leather and artificial leather using the same non-woven fabric are provided to manufacture the non-woven fabric synthetic leather and artificial leather having improved expansion and cushion. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing the non-woven fabric used in synthetic leather and artificial leather comprises the steps of: mixing 5 to 60 wt.% of water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol with synthetic fiber at 35 to 95 deg. C to prepare the semi-product of non-woven fabric; dipping the semi-product of non-woven fabric in a hot water bath having the temperature capable of decomposing 60 to 95% of polyvinyl alcohol fiber; and ironing the surface of the contracted semi-product of non-woven fabric at 100 to 180 deg. C, wherein 5 to 35 wt.% of heat-contractible synthetic fiber is optionally added during the manufacture of the semi-product of non-woven fabric.
