PURPOSE: A method is provided to produce a mini spangle hot coated steel plate having the excellent surface appearance by uniformly and quickly hardening a coated layer with applying a constant electric attraction. CONSTITUTION: A steel plate(1) passed through a coating bath controls a stuck amount of coating by air-wiping during passing between an air knife(3). Water or an aqueous solution in a fog state is jetted on a coated layer in a non-hardened state stuck in the steel plate during passing a spray nozzle(4). An electric field of high voltage is formed between an electrode(6) electrified a high voltage supplied by a generator of high voltage(5) and the steel plate(1) grounded in a ground. A particular drop of the jetted water or the aqueous solution is electrified to have the same polarity with the electrode of high voltage(6). The particular drop is uniformly stuck in the steel plate by generating a constant electric attraction between the particular drop of water or aqueous solution and the steel plate(1). Thereby the generation of spangle is prevented.
