PURPOSE: A fluoride ions remover, its preparation method and a removing method of fluoride ions from waste water using the same are provided. The fluoride ion remover is easily produced at low cost by using tysonite and consequently, fluoride ion in waste water is precipitated and removed effectively. CONSTITUTION: A fluoride ions remover is prepared by the following steps of: pulverizing tysonite which comprises 60 or more % of La and Ce; adding the pulverized one to 30-50% of sulfuric acid or 40 or more % of per chloride acid to make the ratio of tysonite to acid solution be 1: 15 (g/ml); heating the solution at over 150C for 2 or more hours to dissolve it. Preferably the pH of fluoride ions remover is below 2, and the tysonite such as monazite and/or bastnasite is used for producing it. The fluoride ions in waste water is removed by controlling the pH of waste water to be 3-7; adding fluoride ions remover to the waste water in the equivalent ratio of 1: 1.1 to 1: 1.3 to precipitate fluoride ions; and separating the precipitated fluoride ions.
