PURPOSE: Bricks having superior hot air draft in an air heating furnace are provided which smoothly supply hot air into a blast furnace as before the modification and extend the life cycle of the air heating furnace by securing the conditions that the hot air can be supplied into the blast furnace even after the modification of bricks of the air heating furnace just as before the modification. CONSTITUTION: In bricks improved so that the hot air draft is superior in an air heating furnace supplying hot air into a blast furnace, the bricks having superior hot air draft in an air heating furnace comprise taper type concave grooves (20) on the surface of the lower part of a body (10) on which a plurality of ventilating holes (145) are formed so that the ventilating holes (145) are all connected from the surface of the lower part of the body (10) to the taper type concave grooves (20), wherein the taper type concave grooves (20) is formed at the center of the lower surface of the body (10), the body (10) is cut concave so that taper type inclined surfaces are formed at the center of the body, thereby forming a big channel in which a plurality of hot air ventilating holes (145) are integrated at the center of the lower surface of the body (10) due to the taper type concave grooves (20), and wherein the taper type inclined surfaces are constructed so that the hot air is flown into the plurality of ventilating holes (145) as minimizing the flow resistance due to the hot air of a high temperature passing through the concave grooves (20).
