METHOD FOR DEMOLISHING PARTITION WALL AND CHECKER BRICK INSIDE HOT BLAST STOVE AND METHOD FOR REPAIRING THE HOT BLAST STOVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform repair work of the interior of a combustion chamber or the interior of a part which has been hollowed out by partial caving of checker bricks, wherein construction of a temporary scaffold and repair are easily executed within a short period of time.;SOLUTION: In a method, after a hot blast stove is stopped and cooled, an expandable resin is previously filled into the damaged, hollow part inside a checker chamber and/or the combustion chamber, the temporary scaffold is constructed above the expandable resin, and the interior of the hot blast oven is repaired. Thereafter, along with the progress of the repair work, removal of the expandable resin and moving of the scaffold to a lower position are sequentially repeated while the interior of the hot blast stove is repaired from the top to the bottom. In a method for repairing the checker bricks, a brick-supporting pipe is penetrated into a plurality of canal pores of the checker bricks around the damaged part, and equipment for preventing checker bricks from collapsing is temporarily built using the brick-supporting pipe as a foundation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
