Recovery of Valuable Metals in Stainless Steel Slag by Powder Carbon Injection

PURPOSE: A recovery method of transition metal in stainless steel slag is provided which could improve the recovery rate of the transition metal such as Cr, Mn, Fe and the like and reduce the cost of steel-making process. CONSTITUTION: The recovery is performed by blowing carbon powder having particle size less than 5mm in slag when the kilowatt hour per melting-steel-ton is 280-300.
