Anti-HBV agent containing Poncirus trifoliata Ratin extract

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical agent for treatment of hepatitis B virus containing a Poncirus trifoliata extract as a main component is provided which specifically inhibits proliferation of hepatitis virus and is very low in toxicity. CONSTITUTION: Poncirus trifoliata is extracted in methanol or ethanol and an agent for treatment of hepatitis B virus contains a Poncirus trifoliata extract as a main component. The extract is formulated in the form of a tablet, capsule and injection. The agent is administered orally or non-orally at a dose of 0.1-100mg/kg, preferably 1 to 10mg/kg.
