PURPOSE: An enzyme reaction-catalyzing method by controlling the dielectric constant of a solvent and pressure is provided, therefore the efficiency of enzyme reaction can be increased because the activation energy is decreased and the enzyme reaction is stabilized. CONSTITUTION: The enzyme reaction-catalyzing method comprises the steps of: adjusting the concentration of trypsin and Na-Cbz-L-lysine- -nitrophenyl ester to (E)0=0.05 M, (S)0=0.1 to 0.75mM and reacting them at 0 deg.C and pH 5.5 with adjusting the dielectric constant with isopropyl alcohol and formamide to analyze the effect of the dielectric constant on the enzyme reaction; adjusting the pressure of a reactor to 1 to 800 atm and reacting trypsin and Na-Cbz-L-lysine- -nitrophenyl ester with changing the dielectric constant with 30% methanol and isopropyl alcohol to analyze the effect of the pressure on the enzyme reaction; and calculating the effects of the dielectric constant on the activation energy, activation free energy and activation entropy by using Arrhenius equation to analyze the relationship between the dielectric constant and the efficiency of reaction.
