PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling heating line in rear windshield of a car is provided to operate the rear windshield heating line even when the engine stops its operation at the state where the ignition switch is switched on. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling heating line in rear windshield of a car comprises an engine operation sensing unit(1) for sensing an operating state of an engine; a heating line operating switch(4) for supplying or cutting off power of a battery(6) to or from a heating line(7) mounted in a rear windshield; and a microcomputer(3) which is programmed to operate the heating line even when the battery has a voltage lower than a preset voltage level, in accordance with the switch-on operation of an ignition switch(2) and the heating line operating switch, if the engine is sensed as being operated by the engine operation sensing unit, and cut off power supply to the heating line even when the ignition switch and the heating line operating switch are switched on, if the battery has a voltage lower than a preset voltage level when the engine stops its operation.
