PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for detecting a dangerous region and an apparatus and a method for warning a dangerous region are provided to inform a driver of an interval between a vehicle and the dangerous region by obtaining the position information of warning points apart from the dangerous region. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting a dangerous region includes a key input unit(30), a GPS receiver(20), and a controller(40). The key input unit(30) is used for receiving dangerous region information. The GPS receiver(20) receives the position information of a vehicle through a GPS satellite. The controller(40) performs a control operation in order to store the position information of the vehicle in a predetermined interval and store the stored position information as the reference position information and the relative position information for warning the dangerous region when the key input unit receives the dangerous region information. The relative position information includes plural warning points for warning the dangerous region.
