PURPOSE: A method for preventing cracking of the clad part of dissimilar metals of Inconel 690 and austenitic stainless steel is provided which obtains the sound welding part of Inconel excess metal by preventing welding cracks generated on an initial layer of the boundary part during clad welding of austenitic stainless steel with a Ni-base superalloy Inconel 690. CONSTITUTION: In a method for welding dissimilar metals in which austenitic stainless steel and Inconel 690 are clad in a multilayer, the method for preventing cracking of the clad part of dissimilar metals of Inconel 690 and austenitic stainless steel comprises the processes of first welding Inconel 600 containing a relatively larger amount of Ni than Inconel 690 on an initial layer; continuously welding Inconel 690 on a second layer or above so as to obtain a welding boundary part having no welding cracks generated on the initial layer part of Inconel by securing 51 wt.% or more of Ni in a welding metal of the initial layer part.
