SUBSTANCE: one should study portal hepatic tracts by using hematoxylin- and eosin-dyed preparations, moreover, it is necessary to detect the percentage of plasmatic cells and fibroblasts in inflammatory infiltrate of portal tract to calculate diagnostic coefficient of chronization stage C by the formula C = 3.79 - 0.39 x P - 0.08 x F, where P is the percentage of plasmatic cells in the infiltrate of portal tract, %; F is the percentage of fibroblasts in the infiltrate of portal tract, % and at the value of C being close to 1.49 at 0.01-3.0 interval one may diagnose the first stage of chronization, at C value being close to -1.15 within -0.01 to -3.0 interval the second- third chronization stages are diagnosed.
