METHOD FOR PLASTY OF HERNIAL PORTAE AT HERNIAS OF ANTERIOR ABDOMINAL WALL BY VORONIN-SMIRNOV'S TECHNIQUE

FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: first P-shaped suture is performed, a knot is made, suturing is continued with the same ligature at equal pace and margins from the edge by not making knots up to an opposite edge of hernial portae. Then, either by making a knot or not, one should continue the second row of a suture with the same ligature by leaving a space against the edge of the upper aponeurosis folium to suture the latter from outside inwards by leaving a space from the first row of a suture. Inferior aponeurosis folium is sutured by puncturing from outside inwards and from inside outwards. A suture is continued at equal pace in the same sequence up to the site of the first in-puncture. Moreover, a ligature is kept in constant tension during the whole plasty of hernial portae. Then the ends of a ligature are tightened together. EFFECT: decreased number of relapses. 3 dwg
