METHOD ESTABLISHING STATISTICAL DISTRIBUTION OF PARTICLES BY SIZES

FIELD: instrumentation, control over parameters of polydispersive flows. SUBSTANCE: method involves passage of examined flow through sounding laser radiation, flows of monodispersive particles being passed through sounding laser beam beforehand. Quantitative distribution of particles is determined by intensity of formed signals. Then examined flow of particles is passed through sounding laser beam. Contribution of signals from standard monodispersive particles beginning with signals from particles of maximum size is consistently subtracted from obtained quantitative values of distribution of response signals. EFFECT: reliable measurement of parameters of particles in flow independent of their velocities. 5 dwg
