SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing porous granules made of organic or inorganic material with activating agent solution (fullerene or aromatic hydrocarbon) in organic solvent exhibiting chemical inertness to activating agent and material of granules, removal of solvent, the following washing out and drying the sorbent prepared. Aromatic hydrocarbon with ionization potential value I_d less 8.5 eV is used as an activating agent. Removal of activating agent is carried out by washing out with solvent or by sublimation. Sorbent exhibits the enhanced specific capacity relative to low density lipoproteins and low cost.
