FIELD: production of hydrocarbons from domestic garbage and/or wastes of organic materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes loading materials into horizontal revolving reactor for performing reaction of first cracking and loading residues after first cracking into reactor with helical agitator for performing reaction of second cracking. Reaction of cracking is pyrolysis and/or catalytic cracking. Device proposed for realization of said method includes horizontal revolving reactor with helical agitator. Horizontal reactor has first cylindrical housing and cylindrical gear forming loop on outer wall of cylindrical housing; loading unit is mounted on one end of horizontal revolving reactor; device is also provided with first treatment chamber mounted on other end of horizontal revolving reactor. Horizontal revolving reactor is provided with heating unit. Loading unit includes screw feeder or feeder with reciprocating mechanism. Reactor with helical agitator has second cylindrical housing; treatment chamber is connected with one end of this housing; helical agitator is mounted on second cylindrical housing; second treatment chamber is mounted on other end of second cylindrical housing; device is also provided with helical lowering unit mounted in bottom portion of treatment chamber.
