FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes injection of spacecraft with high-thrust engine into initial elliptical orbit at perigee altitude below altitude of geostationary orbit , apogee altitude above altitude of geostationary orbit and inclination of orbit plane different from inclination of geostationary orbit. Magnitudes of angular sectors of operation of low-thrust engines in apogee and perigee areas and maximum angle of deflection of thrust vector by yawing are selected to be constant at entire stage of injection. Apogee altitude is determined from the following formula: where i is inclination of transfer high-elliptical orbit. EFFECT: minimization of injection time and cost. 1 dwg
